Relate Youth

We’re starting a new series entitled “Sin” next week at Ignite. This is going to one of the most eye opening and life changing series as we deal with this huge issue and learn the magnitude of God’s grace. It all starts next week on June 9th @ 8pm.

Josh Loeve will be speaking at all Relate Youth Services this week about the lost value of Integrity. Come expectant and ready on both Wednesday and Friday night for a great message, amazing music, food, worship, God, and of course tons of ppl. The theme for Conference this year is Follow You. Our prayer is that you would leave the conference totally empowered to follow Jesus in your home, school, workplace, city and nation.

This year we have some very special guests:

PARACHUTE BAND – Amazing musicians and friends from New Zealand who lead worship all over the world with bands like Hillsong United and Delerious.

REVOLUTION BAND – An incredible group of young people from the Youth Ministry of CLA in Langley. Their energy and passion for God will blow your mind!

AS ONE ALBUM RELEASE - Yes, Relate Churchs’ own As One Band is finally relasing their first ever Album. The As One band is not just about Relate Church, they are about uniting with the Church in Canada and around the world and empowering Church worship teams to write their own songs. The As One band is going to be showing up at Conference and we’re going to have a great time of Worship together.

Focus Nights are Wildfire on steroids! Our goal is to have a night that is EXTREEMLY easy to bring your friends out to. Everything from the atmosphere to the message is designed to be exciting and welcoming for anyone. We want to empower you to tell your friends about Jesus throughout the week and give you special evening to bring them to.

On top of that – we always give out a prize for whoever brings out the most friends – so YOU could win something.

Focus Nights happen on the last Friday of every month. So take initiative, be bold and invite someone out this Friday – we promise you will not regret it!

So who is God anyways?

You’ve heard what people say about him, but let’s be honest, people say a lot of things.

Some look at the worlds poverty and pain and say he’s an irresponsible God.
Some see his perfection and claim he’s an exclusive God.
Some say he doesn’t exist at all – a figment of our imagination.
Some say he’s the Creator of the Universe and he has an undying love for us.

So what you believe about God is important – it must be. After all, one day, we’re all going to pass on from this world and what we believe is going to define our eternity.

But let’s put all that aside for a second. Who do YOU say God is? Do you believe in God? Do you follow him because your parents do? Is prayer important to you? Is church important to you? Should we praise God? Should we give up our lives to serve him?

This year we’re kicking off by asking some questions. We hope you’re searching, we hope you have a genuine passion to know more about this world and the God that Created it.

The Christmas Formal is happening on December 18th.

It’s the 3rd year we’ve done this and its always a blast – there is a ton of special stuff planned and best of all, its Free!

It’s always the best when everybody dresses up, so guys – pick out a tie from your closet, girls grab a dress and let’s have some fun. We also have 2$ slices of pizza available plus other snacks. Everybody is welcome so don’t forget to invite a friend – its going to be an awesome Christmas Party.
